DETAILS

Ideally, a native plant garden should contain all the layers, from the ground up to the canopy, in order to fill every open niche for wildlife habitat and to hold its own against invading weeds. Learn about how to group trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants together for maximum impact and beauty for a variety of situations and growing conditions. Anna Fialkoff will also share her top picks for pollinators and birds on the Aspetuck Land Trust plant sale list. Anna Fialkoff is a Connecticut College Arboretum Horticulturist. Formerly of the Native Plant Trust Senior Horticulturist and the Wild Seed Project Ecological Programs Manager
